Most of the suburb's established housing dates from the 1970s through the 90s — brick-and-tile homes on standard residential lots, with a substantial stock of villas, townhouses and retirement-living units across the flatter sections near the Leisure Drive precinct. On the older houses, the recurring items are elevated moisture readings in original wet areas, first-generation roofing and the decades of garden growth that has gradually worked its way over slab edges and weep holes.
